Hector received his bachelors degree from the Alfonso Lopez Pumarejo College in the city of Valledupar. He is currently studying Systems Engineering.

Climate change and its consequences are affecting the environment and our lives. The pictures I sent were taken in Guacoche, a village near the city of Valledupar. In the pictures I tried to show some of the consequences of global warming, ancient trees falling, dry soil, trees that suddenly burn.

This affects the local wildlife - cows, sheep, goats suffer from the lack of water and food. The rivers are drying up and as a result the harvest of corn, rice and other crops is diminishing every year. What will happen to us - to humanity?

It is time to take care of our planet because the effects of climate change concern us all!
