At school I have learned a lot about the need to protect and save the environment. I know now that it is very important to worry about our health and care about the environment. My older brother and I did well in the first term exams. Our father promised to take us to the theatre, "Quai des Arts", an interesting play by the famous drama group Daaray Kocc. We were looking forward to the show but the play didn't take place as the auditorium was closed on that day - the hygiene services disinfected it as well as the market and the other public places.
We were disappointed but our father explained to us the necessity of that disinfection. He told us that public places like hotels, restaurants, cinemas, markets, stadiums and schools were breeding places for the spread of infectious diseases. So the cleanliness of these places must be controlled by the Hygiene Services. The communities and the local authorities as well must take their responsibilities.
Mr. Keinde, too, our teacher of English language, says that "People have to change their actions towards the environment by cleaning, planting trees, saving natural rainforests and the non renewable resources; otherwise it will take our breath away. But anyone who plants a tree helps plant a seed of life and a remedy for life".
