As youth living in Palestine we face so many problems and climate change is one of them. We want to live in peace and we have to tackle challenges like unemployment, so that the Palestinians will have better opportunities. A severe problem concerning the environment in Palestine is the lack of water, which makes the situation extremely critical.
Lack of water will be a huge problem in the long term and we have already started feeling it these days - more and more of the cultivated land and especially the olive trees, which are the symbol of our culture and our heritage, are threatened by increasing aridity. But there is always a hope, a hope for better life, life with fair peace, freedom to move to express ourselves and to live a safe life. Perhaps my photos can be perceived just as beautiful pictures - the are a reflection of my hope that we will live in a better place full of peace and love and in a safe and sutainable environment. Through my photos I would like to say that there will be a better future and that there is always hope. In order to make people believe in it you have to feel it from the inside. My motto is 'never give up hope'.
