    • This dam is very important for all my region because makes hydraulic energy to my city (Obregon city) and gives water for the farmers in my region and nearby towns and this dam is very affected by climate change…
    • the absence of water in this place for the extreme temperatures in summer is a serious topic because many people depends of this dam.
    • Getting a suntan (the ladder).
    • In the border of the absences. Differents levels of the dam's water... (attention with the ladder)

    • People talks about the incredible.
    • Hurricane Lowell (level of the water on the city)

The whole of Mexico has been affected by climate change, both economically and socially. In the north-west, where I live, there is often a shortage of water. Even reservoir supplies are unreliable, which has a knock-on effect on agriculture - one of the region's most important economic sectors. Closer to home, the lack of water has also affected my family's food production and our economic well-being.

In previous years, the high temperatures led to water supplies being switched off completely in some cities. For example, three years ago, the city of Hermosillo (the capital of the state of Sonora) had to resort to purifying salt water from the Gulf of California.
